I get the impression he's been attracted to/had a crush on Ria for years and "gave up" on it after she moved away because of her modelling, and he essentially "settled" for Suzuka (hence his problems getting it up and his sexual fixation on Ria). Now that she's back however he's torn between Suzuka who clearly likes him maybe even loves him and the "wholesome" relationship they have, and the object of his desire and possible first love? Ria, who also clearly likes him. Story seems to boil down to a very crude and overly horny "wrong time" setting, where had Ria not moved away she and Haruka would be dating, not Suzuka and Haruka, and Ria seems determined to get what she wants now, even if it means causing a complete trainwreck.
