So Myne's ideas for her new names in the original Japanese are in English, but in the translated English here, they are changed to Japanese?

I wonder if Sylvester already wanted to punish his mother if he is fine doing it just because of Myne. If yes, I wonder why.

The change is just for transparency sake. In the LN whenever myne speaks in untranslated words the LN usually uses [] as a signifier that she it wasn't translated (at least that's how it is in the English translation if I remember correctly).
As for Sylvester Short answer yes long answer is actually a lot more of a spoiler

Basically the names she comes up with are in original Japanese, which sounds like Alien language to people in this world. To reflect this in scanlation, we convert it back to Japanese so to English readers they sound confusing and requires Myne to explain it to us again.

I’ve read the whole LN and its appendix, and this part kinda has the weakest reasoning in the entire novel in my opinion.

Like, yes, he acquired a single individual with high noble’s mana, a whole new industry, and otherworldly knowledge, but he would need to sacrifice his mother’s entire faction which holds is entire duchy together, I’m not sure it’s a sound decision if I were him.

In page 21, In the image about the 3 new roles for Mine
1 - An Apprentice blue priestess,
2- The Adopted daughter of the duke,
3- and a Workshop Manager,
I think the texts for 1 and 2 are at the side of the incorrect image.

I think he also considered Ferdinand's situation in that.
After all, it was Sylvester who told Ferdinand to enter the temple to escape Veronica's persecution, with full intention to bring him back to noble society later on. So he already planned to usurp his mother's reign one day, or else Ferdinand would have to wait until she croaks naturally.
