I'm glad most series don't have adaptations like this. This is hell to keep track of. The climax from the previous arcs is always ruined by the exposition if you want to pick it up.

While i agree with the "hell to keep track of" statement and feel with you, i would guess for most fans it is not really a problem considering the LN is already finished and translated. The manga is just a nice to have in that regard.

They even used a different title to avoid spoilers for not-novel readers. Good decision I would say.

For manga readers (who haven't read the novel) it must be hell to follow one like this with many parts running simultaneously. But just imagine how long it would take if one mangaka had to the whole series alone. There is always the completed novel to fall back to.

Although it is a questionable decision to even give the sequel the same treatment.
