I think it’s fine because nobody really cares about omake, it’s not going to influence anybody’s decision to buy it.
They don’t have LN side-stories because they weren’t published in a LN, they’re just side stories (just because they’re text based doesn’t make then LN). But you’re right about volumes 3-7 having newly written text based stories, too bad JNC will only be releasing volume 2 next week and volume 3 is still ages away.
