The mc is as likeable as Kazuya from rental girlfriend... And he still hangs with his ex thinking she cucked him with a bunch of dudes. But the drawings are damn nice. They need to appoint this guy a writer that's all

Erm. Sure he is not good but that comparison is just unfair.

For example in this chapter he grew as character more than Cuckuya in 200 chapters. Still I agree, not great.

It's fine to like it.... I feel the main reason people are so mad is the fact that if you ignore the beginning (the premise) this manga would work way better (it'd be generic, but likeable).

Like, he was apparently cheated on by his best and closest friend.... and yet there is no trauma, he gets along too well and it's almost like it doesn't matter.....

Rather than a boy betrayed by his first love and best friend, it instead feels like a story about childhood friends that moved apart and are just meeting again.....

It's premise ruins what would be a likable story....
