This outcome was obvious since story entirely ignored Sunao's "trauma" after ch. 1. He even conveniently came to the conclusion that she was probably lying by himself so that impact will be lessened when she tells him herself (if ever). Premise was a complete bait and switch. Story actually doesn't even try to address how selfish Lemon has been this entire time when it comes to Sunao (well he is a giant doormat but still).Did I miss something or did this series become kinda... boring? Like, there's nothing really at stake anymore, everybody gets along with each other splendidly
Is it, actually? Like, if I was asked what the last +/-20 chapters' developments were, I wouldn't be able to give an answer. Raika became a normal person, and everything since then has been filler, I'd say. But just my 2 cents. Its pretty obvious at this point that him and Lemon will get back together no matter how stupid that is.
I completely agree and even can say that there was nothing note worthy happening for the entire 40 chapter run of the manga. Chapter 1 has set the premise and author entirely abondoned it and turned it in to a romcom about nothing. My guess concerning the outcome is due to the countless cliche "romcom" situations Sunao and Lemon find themself in since the start. If author is not setting things up for it, i don't know what she is trying to do. It has become highly boring though, that's for sure.Is it, actually? To be fair, in these stories, main girl winning is almost 90% and secondary girl winning is like 10%.....Is it, actually? I'm guessing that the premise probably ended up way darker than the author intended...I completely agree and even can say that there was nothing note worthy happening for the entire 40 chapter run of the manga. I don't think there were any stakes to begin with.... the issue was that this series started with a huge trauma that wasn't answered for a really long time.....Did I miss something or did this series become kinda... boring? Like, there's nothing really at stake anymore, everybody gets along with each other splendidly, and no matter whether Sunao ends up with Lemon or Kogahara, nobody will probably utter even a single harsh word toward anybody else. Seems like it's been ages since the body-swapping was addressed, too.
I really gotta wonder, if the author has ANY clue where this manga is headed.
I've pretty much not read a chapter since chapter 10 and have skipped all the way here to 40 and it feels like nothing has happened which is never a good signIs it, actually? definitely agree the pacing slowed down like around ch 20ish with the intro of Raika. Each arc since has felt long while giving more open ends without satisfying conclusionsIs it, actually? Exactly. Boy should just man up and ask Lemon so the misunderstanding can be cleared and then they can rebuild their relationship ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))no, Sunao. you are NOT doing this right
The stakes are the mangaka forcing Sunao and Lemon together without doing the leg work and me raging at it. I can assure you, there will be harsh words to someone. It will be me towards the mangaka.Did I miss something or did this series become kinda... boring? Some of you can only read plots with a gimmick and it shows. The author's only problem is that they started with such a plot and attracted the wrong readers (hey gotta get published somehow), but there's nothing wrong with having a slow, nuanced plotline that doesn't have every chapter focus on body-swapping shenanigans and litteral grade-school drama.Chapter 1 has set the premise and author entirely abondoned it and turned it in to a romcom about nothing. ... It has become highly boring though, that's for sure.
