This was an Isekai this whole time.It even seems that the traumatized character is from one dimension and the current character is from another.

if that happens and we get Lemon side with Akiyoshi acting like in the first chapter, that would be some good cooking by the author and would shut up a lot of the comments (myself included), but I would doubt that a little (having a stalker character and then turning her part of the gang is pretty dumb, so my bar in expectations isn't that high)Two or three things jump put to me in this chapter.
One, comparing what @triplegks’ quote shows with the events in this chapter are quite different, and we don’t know which version of events is what happened, if either happened. During this chapter Lemon’s eyes are swollen as she breaks up (look at the bags under her eyes in the panel), so she presumably spent some time crying before.
Add to this that Akiyoshi is quite calm in comparison to chapter one I’m inclined to believe that chapter one’s events are closer to the truth, or at least events as they unfolded, and this chapter’s flashback is Akiyoshi remembering the events, with hindsight bias.
He’s had time to think things through, and probably thinks of himself as having reasonably thoughts and reactions at that time, but how true that is we may never know. Ideally we’d have a third interpretation of events, from someone besides Akiyoshi and Lemon, to compare to, but I suspect the best we’ll get is Lemon’s version as she tells Kogahara her version, at least in parts.
We still haven't gotten the full side of the story on her end, just Sunao's, to me it seems Lemon was bullied into breaking up with Sunao, into distancing from him. Then the silence happened, on Sunao's end it seems that led to it ruminating and reverberating in his mind. She looked a bit older, when we've seen it the first time, so probably happened after he confronted her again 😶
Also feels bad, here he is trusting her and reacting calmly just thinking to himself she wouldn't do that and that's probably why she wanted him to stay away from her class for those malicious rumours (what he thought up to this point) and she just goes and turns the rumours into reality for him, for no reason whatsoever, instead of just also calmly talkin with him, then she just proceeds to ghost him 😐
Looking at that she really doesn't deserve a second chance in my eyes, wouldn't know how you could possibly trust her again
cant really blame her tbh since this is middle schoolShe looked a bit older, when we've seen it the first time, so probably happened after he confronted her again 😶

That's true. Maybe I've forgotten, but the change doesn't seemed to have been addressed.but it was the talk with Sunao Friend about how Sunao said he would never date again after the break up that made Lemon talk with Sunao about the past, if Sunao wasn't traumatized the motive for the talk and flashback won't exist anymore, and the recent chapters won't make sense
I mean tbf they were in middle school who the hell is emotionally mature or reasonable during that time in there life? What she did was absolutely fucked up no denying that but I don't think it's fully fair to expect a middle schooler to always handle there emotions and relationships properly especially when we don't know what she was going throughShe looked a bit older, when we've seen it the first time, so probably happened after he confronted her again 😶

Talking of responsibility..Now not saying he doesn't have a right to have resentment over it he absolutely does but they're both now at a point in life where they're more mature and can actually properly talk about what happened and possibly able to mend there relationship if he wants to I think she very much could earn a second chance if she takes responsibility
