I am quiet worried about Hori's general knowledge, bringing up topics like gay and crossdressing.

What do you mean? I totally remember this whole sequence of her talking with her mom about Miyamura, then trying to learn his first name in the second episode of the anime. I even bothered to snag a gif clip of the mom interaction, because it amuses me.

But yeah, I do see there's parts of this chapter that didn't get adapted into that episode. Like talking to the teacher who keeps jumping to conclusions.

Yuki with the "I saw you with a guy- is he your boyfriend?" and I'm like 'not yet' ... heh-heh... I love that I got to see that scene, and the one with the over-reacting teacher, thanks to reading the manga. Really is a shame they didn't just make two or three normal seasons or whatever and adapt as much as possible. These moments really add to things, and are some serious foreshadowing.

This really was such a cute interaction, between Izumi and Hori-mama.
