Yeah... to me, a violent tsundere needs to move away from being a violent tsundere as the story progresses. I want to see where this goes, but I really hope she finally starts working on cutting out this irrational behavior. It's clear her parents mellowed out, so she can, too.
Sure, you can't do the 'slapstick' humor if she cuts it out, but I feel like showing legitimate character development is more important than continuing to do physical humor like this. Find another way to make jokes. Hell, you have plenty of other characters to crib jokes off of between the happy couple and them.
Even the tsundere from a story I read recently that pretty much cribbed on absurd female reactions to the male lead, and in turn his sharp comebacks, had the tsundere who was the female lead toning down her physical violence over the course of the series. It didn't entirely go away until the final arc, but it definitely diminished, alongside her abrasive attitude towards him. You could tell she was getting better, and the two were getting closer, going from hating, to not disliking, to liking, to realizing they were legitimately in love, while forced into a 'fake' relationship with each other that was becoming real (that last bit I was reminded of by Yuki and Tooru, since they're 'faking it until they make it', too).
HoriMiya rushed forward through the whole 'starting the relationship proper' phase so quick, which was great to see, but at the same time it meant you couldn't use the deepening love to guide the diminishing of the negative tsundere traits. In fact, the physical violence didn't really start in earnest until after their relationship started, it feels like to me, so almost feels back-asswards. Like she was getting more violent because she was getting more in love with him.
The relationship started, and then we got relationship milestones, and then otherwise it's more or less status quo romcom formula until another development between the main pair or supporting cast couples or potential couples.
