I feel like people not enjoying characters just means they haven't been keeping track of them. Just about all of them have been enjoyable or entertaining in some way, I feel. To be fair, if you didn't binge it like I am, it's probably hard to keep them all straight with a monthly release schedule. But that's why I try not to follow manga on a monthly schedule, instead focusing on completed works, and if I do read and catch up on an ongoing, I take a break and then come back and refresh my memory on the last several chapters before wherever I stopped, however many I feel are necessary to re-acquaint myself with a series and what was going on.
