Secondly, japanese uniform is based on Meiji-period formal military dress that is based on court uniform inspired clothing of the 1870's and the design for Nazi uniform also came from that particular style of "sharp" looking dress with straight lines and to highlight shoulders with clear straight edge around neck.

We're more accustomed with "Nazi style" because, well... WWII shenanigans BUT the original "bottom of the iceberg" were worn by Hungary hussar cavalry in 15th century and the style originated from.
