geez, everybody is some sort of messed up in this one. And sure, it's all a cold, fetid load of stereotypes (overbearing mother, appeasing father, spoiled brat, vengeful sister) that no one with any realistic worldview relates to, but at least it means that you can do some terrible things to your characters without anybody getting too upset over it. No, what really makes this a meh story is just how incredibly bog-standard the horror is. Oh wow, a ghost comes back to get revenge on her murderer. And the murderer is her sister? You don't say. You really don't say. Hell, it even does the "it was all a dream" thing that so many stories do for really no reason whatsoever.
