@morichiro I don't think she broke as such - this kind of hidden undertow in her character would probably explain why Kanou got so pissed off with her. (Enough to start hazing her. Or possibly her friends kicked it off because they came to witness it.)

tl/dr - Matsukata was always broken. (And judging by her mom, it's probably hereditary.)
