This is pushing Akiba quite fast outside of his comfort zone, which is making me dislike these two new characters more. It doesn't really feel like they treat Akiba as a friend as much as he's a toy for them. I'm sure the author has solid plans for everything, but personally I don't believe Akiba needed to crossdress in front of the whole school. Cosplaying is his hobby, with his cosplay just happening to be crossdress. It's not a part of his identity as such, so he doesn't need to prove anything or step out of the closet. Nothing of that sort.

it is a little fast, and i believe (though this is pure speculation) at this point the author was probably rushing a few plot points in order to wrap the story up quicker, considering how this SINGULAR volume is roughly the entire last 3 volumes COMBINED in length, which is a little unfortunate
