I think what makes this great is not that the misunderstanding got solved quickly but that they solved it in a way that also emphasized just how close and intimate they've become and also gave some sort of shape to their feelings, friction is often used as lead for progress and I believe authors feel the need to raise the stakes as to not make the readers feel like they've wasted their time on pointless chapters.

Here however the author is using these instances as ways to prove that these two won't drift apart for long enough, and more importantly, showcase the charm of their relationship and dynamic much more intensely than in previous chapters.
