I read almost exclusively Rom-Com manga so I've gotten pretty numb to a lot of stuff

But for some reason this manga, and more specifically this chapter made me skip-a-beat loll

The male character is not a complete moron, both are decent persons with interesting personality, there's no useless drama, boring love triangle, cliché situations or forced humour. That's what's different.
There are many mangas like that right now: Hanninmae no Koibito, Kanojo to Kare no Kankei, Nee, Mou Isso Tsukiacchau to name a few. They don't really break new ground but characters are endearing enough to be a pleasant read.
