Piggybacking off the Japanese talk, a big part of what makes what Shun says to her that makes her blush so cool isn't just what he says, but how he says it. It doesn't come across in English, but I believe (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I didn't exactly check lol) this is the first time he's used informal Japanese when talking directly to her.
If you know anything about formal speech and hierarchies in Japanese, since Chokki-chan is his senior, he is expected to speak to her using polite, formal Japanese, and has been doing so since they first met (again, I'm pretty sure). If you read enough manga, even if you don't know Japanese, you probably already know that informal speech to someone (such as calling someone by their first name instead of their last) isn't rude (although it can be), but actually says a lot about what the person speaking thinks about how close their relationship is.
A good anecdote an old Japanese professor once told me, for example, is that a clever way for a girl to start dropping not so subtle hints to her boyfriend that she's no longer interested in him is to switch to talking to him in more formal Japanese, as it denotes the person she's speaking to isn't as close anymore. You get the reverse in many romcom manga where the main chars freak out about calling each other by their first names and dropping -san.
Anyways, tangent over, but Shun specifically uses 俺 ("ore") instead of 僕 ("boku") when saying Chokki-chan would get bored without him, and his tone using くせに ("kuse ni") at the end is a bit on the rude or annoyed side in most other situations. This is the important part.
This is a side of Shun that Chokki-chan has never seen. He's never talked to her like this. And it sucks that it doesn't come off in English translations because she almost definitely thinks it's cool as hell. He is being a straight up linguistical Chad here. I think this is a big part of why she gets so flustered, and it unfortunately didn't come through in the English.
Anyways, sorry for another long Japanese post from me on a manga I enjoy haha
This is why I can't translate anything because I would have appendices of TL notes full of weird/useless/pedantic shit like this.
