Would hard agree 99/100 times but the manga was screaming just that for the past like 9? chapters already. A new character to push them both (as weak, cheap, lazy, cringe as it is) is legit the only out with the author having no spine.

She realized her feelings and was set on making him fall but then the last 5 chapters have been them both turning in circles and nothing happening. This has been a nothing-burger on every front for a while now.
All her grand proclamations and development are just forgotten by the author it seems. This chapter even has her go "I want to be everyone's dream" as opposed to work toward him in any way and otherwise is 0 anything until the last 3 panels.
This introduction seems like progress (even if the worst form) and I am all for it. Just hope author manages to pull it off without ruining one of the leads

To be fair, the trope goes 2 ways, either she's mad at them dating, or it's just put in a misunderstood way for a cliff hanger purposes and the author is intentionally trying to fool us...

Both are equally possible..

And she has tired eyes, making it easily look bad even if it isn't...
