Last chapter's flashforward had me thinking they were starting the final arc. This chapter introduced a handful of new classmates' faces, which has me thinking it's gonna take awhile. I guess we're getting Komi-san'd.

Speaking of new characters they look tropey as can be. Two delinquents, a gloomy girl, and a girl with a braid. I bet the twist will be they aren't just tropes. The delinquents will actually be nice kids in the manga club. The gloomy girl will have a secret influencer account. etc etc.

People think it dragged too much with overabundance of side characters. The story spanned for three years of highschool and each year introduced new set of cast of classmates. If you want a story that's focused on just main couple progression the experience was a drag.
