i'm not necessarily that kind of guy, but it still gets me that he takes someone to try some kind of super-expensive rare dish for the first time, doesn't even taste it once, dumps a bottle of liquid salt on it and ends up encouraging the person he brought to do the exact same thing... like, it's at least polite to the chef to take a single bite of the dish first, right lol? at that point you could've saved the other person some money and still blown their mind with a "normal" steak, the condiments are basically all they're getting out of the experience anyway. and then the reaction is (of fucking course) "wow this (japanese-produced seasoning, whatever it may be) is the single most revolutionary thing ever made that everyone in this other world with different lifestyles and food cultures and (theoretically) different bodies and senses of taste entirely, all find absolutely amazing without question (everybody knows that cats famously love the taste of garlic!)" & that shit is just so exhausting, it's crazy they whipped it out so few chapters in lol. Even if 70-80% of isekai have a "i recreated mayonnaise and these fantasy people are obsessed with slurping it down on its own by the fucking gallon now" scene they usually don't do it so soon lol
