Brutal. I can see that, In a country like Japan where firearms are very hard to come by, and improvised electrical device like this might be more commonly used.

I do wonder how much of a battery is necessary to deliver enough juice to kill a live boar. Maybe they're actually using a large capacitor instead of a battery. In any case, this whole thing looks really dangerous to use.
