@Gustbk Dunno how this story is gonna go, since i havent read it yet and i was checking the comments LOL, but the original one-shot was: two drunk girls that are "more into girls" decide to go out because why not. They go into dates, sex, dates, sex blabla and when they have been going out for 5-6 months the short haired girl caught the long haired one with another girl. Long haired girl apologizes saying that its not what it looks like, that she is not cheating, but... yeah xD
Its bittersweet because the start going out without any real feelings for each other. Just coz they are singles. But with the past of time the short haired girl who was the less enthusiastic about the idea of going out starts developing feeling for the other and when she realizes she is in love, a moment later she sees her love with someone else LOL

I feel like Saeko's female coworker look a lot like the one Saeko "cheat" with in the OS. I'm just the only one with this impression ?

This is a really good series, the characters, their thoughts and emotions feel believable. It doesn't rely on typical tropes and cliché scenarios you'd find in many mangas. Could probably translate well into a real tv-show.

I like this series. I really do. But the longer this goes on the more and more I get annoyed by Saeko...
At first Miwa was annoying in that she was absolutely immature on the inside. As the story progressed Miwa has actually grown and at least shows that she is attempting to become better. She still has her flaws, but she is more aware of them and is trying to better herself. Saeko, at first, seemed chill. As the story progressed her flaws were made glaringly apparent. She even has some understanding of her own shortcomings, but intentionally does absolutely NOTHING to better herself. Instead she takes out her frustrations about the parts of herself she hates on Miwa and refuses to be open and honest with Miwa about it. It boils down to this, IMO: Saeko sees Miwa as nothing more than someone she can use sexually. She has no interest in actually being in a real relationship with her, whereas Miwa is actively trying to treat Saeko with the dignity and openness about herself that a relationship calls for. I know from the pre-serialization that this is supposed to be a trainwreck relationship that crashes fantastically. But man... reading it as a slow burn is actually making me anxious.

Hrm. I've been a long time follower and I really enjoy this series. It has decent pacing, realism when it comes to what it means to be a lesbian, and the awkwardness is so true to life it hurts. But the more I read, the more I am coming to absolutely despise Saeko...

She's so indicative of every abusive relationship I've been in. Someone who can't stop thinking about themselves for ten seconds and impulsively makes decisions out of guilt that ends up hurting their partner. She's so toxic to herself AND her partner that I am just left flabbergasted as to how I'm supposed to enjoy her as a character at all...

I'm surprisd it doesn't have the drama tag.

I'm just writing this in the main title page, but everytime i see this manga, it gives me an oppressing feeling in my chest, i didn't read the oneshot, but i know how it ends, i don't want that to happen here, i keep reading every new chapter because i expect things to get better, and they do, but at the same time there are some parts that punch really hard.
I just want a happy ending, the calm after the storm.

I agree and Disagree with what @ ghor said.....

If you want a manga about a happy couple getting together and having fun, this might not be for you in the long haul

but honestly this is an extremely good manga with a very very VERY realistic depiction of the complications same sex couples go through. its very real and the frustration you feel as a reader comes from a place of worrying for the characters rather than frustration from how badly the situation is written.

highly recc if you want a yuri that isnt just pornographic content for men

Holy crap! The translation for this series is amazing. This is by far the best quality translation I've ever seen. Including official, professional work. As a native English speaker and as someone who is very literate, this series reads just like how English speaking people actually talk. (Depending on where you live obviously) I also didn't notice any grammatical or spelling errors either so the proofreading is also top-notch.

I really enjoyed this series. There's no doubt that I'll be re-reading this one day. The story, characters, settings, everything sets place. Sometimes, I get confused with the issues our MC's are battling at the moment, but it doesn't really stop me from reading. hehe Anyway, thank you for the translators. I love you guys so much. T_T

Got baited. You think "Oh there is no drama tag yey" but then BAM! THERE IS DRAMA EVERY F*CKING EPISODE.
Dropped at 25.
Not recommended.
Need a drama tag.

A couple who can't be honest with each other, a dude who hates everyone cuz they bully him on highschool?! Dude loves a girl who has a GIRLFRIEND!? WHY? This is a classic drama kid story.

To be honest with whoever is just walking in on this manga, it's a wonderful read but so far this is not a romance manga. Instead, it's a VERY accurate depiction of two people that enter into a relationship because they are physically attracted to each other but it quickly falls apart because of incompatibility, lack of communication and unresolves personal issues.

Very real and it captures the essence of why a lot of relationships fail. Definitely recommend👍🏼

I agree, @Funkhouse . As much as i appreciate a nice romantic story, and as much as i'd like to see this having a happy ending, this one seems pretty realistic.
