Mom and the kids during naptime 8D;

And the platter looks good altogether but i feel like the meat touching the fruit is a bit ehh but that's just my personal neurosis i guess

not sure if Rina is getting tired of Mifune, or if this is a "if you can't push, then pull" strategy.

I suppose but if anything i'd expect him to be more disappointed/mad that he potentially 'missed out on meeting other cute idols' or whatever even if he has a particular 'oshi' or whatever. But if Rina's unaware she's doing it rather than purposefully teasing him that's even better

They can put whatever they want inside a loaf of meat. Beside, there is way more meat than eggs. The meat is the star of the dish while in scotch egg, the egg is the star.
On a side note, the author and thousands of readers don't really care about you, so you can do whatever you want. I will also move on from this.

I would try it as long as Kenta made it (never had a real scotch egg, i think i've had some friend's meatloaf she brought as leftovers from home, but pics do look appealing, if a bit greasy/deep fried or so, so i'm surprised i haven't seen any for sale in the south unless they tend to make it more in bars rather than just restaurants which i don't really go to), tho wouldn't be surprised if there was some "Japanified" versions of other ppl's classic dishes like how napolitan is basically just pasta and ketchup/sauce?

mochizuki asserting his place as the adopted son of the fukuyama couple :dogkek:

luxury fruits are one japanese culture that is too bizzare in my eyes.

Sounds like a marketing opportunity for ppl to set up some orchard for reasonable prices. (tho i'd expect to see more of those 'unique' looking fruits like those 'square' melons that were bred to be easier to stack or whatever)

Tho, whole fruits aside and such , i know fruits sandwich are a thing so it's not the same as getting caviar (hopefully), but we've seen kenta made plenty of veggies in side dishes so at least those aren't overpriced

I can report that scotch eggs are tasty because the deep-fried breading is good, and the sausage is good. The egg in the middle is the least valuable part, IMO. The house needs a concrete foundation, but I don't want to eat it.

Scotch Eggs are a British thing (There's a British pub in my town staffed by exchange students, and they are the only place I've seen scotch eggs). Agreed that they'd be hit in the South, but maybe the South is on better shit. I'm thinking why scotch egg when sausage gravy and biscuits exists? Why scotch egg when chicken fried steak (With sausage gravy)?

In Britain you do get scotch eggs in restaurants/pubs but you also can buy them in convenience stores for eating on the go. I always get them for long train rides and road trips in England.

You're bang on tho - the breaded sausage is the best bit by far. You do get em with different meat as well. Black pudding Scotch eggs are awesome.

But the meatloaf wasn't breaded so it can't be a long scotch, regardless of meat choice. Now I want kenta to make egg stuffed menchi katsu so this argument can descend deeper into madness.

You can call it meatloaf all you want, but that's not meatloaf. It's a giant scotch egg, because you don't put whole boiled eggs in meatloaf.
If it makes y'all any madder, I can tell you that banh bao, Vietnamese-style steamed buns, are composed of boiled egg and ground meat mixed with various things, wrapped with a bun and steamed. Arguably, it's more of a scotch egg because there's a breading component in the outer layer.

I mean, I didn't know I was eating Scotch Eggs my whole life, but if you say so I'll accept it.

My ex was very much like that, she’d organize events and then get anxious and frazzled when things didn’t go as planned. I still think it was pretty cute tbh
