First thing I'd do is test the extent of my so called powers. After blowing up a moon, I'd be really curious about what I can or can't do and what I can get away with.

@GoblinGuy I wasn't trying to say he should use magic on the guy (since obviously it would be a bad thing as stated by the elf in the same chapter he actually destroys the moon), but that if he possesses such ridiculous magical power whilst having the knowledge that he is one of the revered 'strongest races', that maybe his physical strength and resistances are equally ridiculous and thus may not need to be as afraid of the dude with the sword - I'd expect the guy to take a swing at the MC and have his sword just break on hitting him, thus revealing that potentially obvious information.

Edit: I'd like to refer to chapter 1, where he stops a powered-up monster with nothing but a panicked block and then proceeds to open-palm strike him into a wall.

And i totally agree with @Kinimx he is just an ordinary person without any knowledge of self deffense or any training. He just wanted to appeal to that elf girl as any man would do in that situation. You all talk about how he is the biggest looser ever, when with his godly powers rans away like chicken. You should really try to imagine yourself in that situation. Hes got mentality of normal person not hero, just because he obtained power doesn't mean he lost fear. To be honest this is the realistic way how the normal person would react in this kind of situation. What is it called self-preservation?

Him acting like a wimp and being super strong is possible, but it doesn't explain why he thought he should confront the invader alone. As the consummate coward I am, I would not tell the person who knows how to fight to back off and let me take care of it if I know that I am a coward. That is the inconsistent bullshit that doesn't make sense. If he knows he is a coward, then he should act like one, and that includes not throwing himself into danger. Also INB4 someone says "well he didn't know it was a threat," if he is a coward he would not take that chance. He is just stupid.

Yeah i know that thats why chapter 1 is fucking me up like real hard right now so i don't see the point in making him such a bad mc i mean who can get such a idea and think it is good and i thought that psychological barrier was already half open from either his first damn fight or his past. Also i have a question and hope somebody can answer it for me cause i dont understand how hard it can be to make a story that is atleast a bit better than because of all the thoughts and hard work you put in making manga. This seems really harsh because i have no clue about making manga other than the stuff i read in bakuman but is it hard to make a story that is not this damn bad or di they just do whatever to get paid.
