@Hyscoar its a trope even western comics use, I'm more interested in some story that depict medieval times that men are the ones using high heels since high heels was invented for the use of men in the first place.
@Riger I'd say it's pretty much exactly a longsword. At least if we look at its length when she's leaning on it on the first page (which itself is fucking dumb, but whatever) and use that as reference. This girl is probably something like 150-160 cm tall, and it reaches up to the top of her chest. That would make the sword's full length somewhere between 110-130 cm, which is basically the length range of historical longswords. Also, claymores are just specifically Scottish longswords that have a certain crossguard type. There are some claymores with blade length of over a meter, but that's not really the average size.
Only issue with suddenly giving her a sword with a much longer reach is that she didn't have time to practice with it. One wrong swing with too much follow through, and she may easily hit the person she's protecting.
