@shipmeadow That's a tricky question. Even some pretty popular series never really had many doujins about them at all end up circulating online while some obscure or unpopular series could have at least a handful. It really depends less on a series having popularity, and a series having even just one of the right people at the right time to be fans (or anti-fans, I guess) of it.
