@slime_sleeper Yeah, don't do, it's very better than begin the shit and stop, just torturing everyone without see the ending.
You shouldn't even start translating, are you 9 years old to not know how the internet works by any chance?
In my world, people who start a project simply to drop it, is what we call irresponsible,
and that type of person is something I don't like to see in the community.

Then let's actually have a constructive debate on which opinion matters, I did this to promote the artist and the serialisation and you're only missing one chapter, yet you threw a tantrum like a spoiled child, and you think it's irresponsible that the scanlator didn't deliver it because you think that is what the community would expect.

Now in my defense, I don't really have an obligation to anyone since I'm doing it on my free time and I'm not getting paid for it, the Fanbox in its own way is to support the artist, not to feed your incessant hunger for mangas to consume. Now you're stating that I'm acting as if I don't know how the Internet works, it's because I understand how the internet works, and the Fanbox is to contribute to the artist, then if I were to post this out, and the social media morons circulate it, what do you think would happen?

You're not supporting the artist at all, you spew hate and disgust just because of your thoughts on what is righteous is to get free content to satisfied the sullen masses from breaking out in a frenzy. There are a lot more other dropped mangas that will never get picked up because of the scanlator's own reasons.

You're getting a serialised version of this and what you want is more and more just to feed your desires. You don't get a say in this unless you want to do the work yourself, and your demeanour just goes to show that you think that you're entitled to anything just because you follow engagingly at it. You act like a crazed K-Pop fan who thinks that they get a say in what the artist can and cannot do because the fan bought their merchandises. Now I want to ask how mature of you with a narrow world view?

@marcus-beta dude chill. Have respect for others. This world doesnt revolve around you, you are nobody on the internet. You dont get to tell others how they should do what they do. People aren't alive to do your bidding. If you aren't satisfied, then do it yourself. This "project" is not even important that abandoning it is acceptable, especially because the reason the scanlator mentioned.

Just keep in mind that I don't think anyone has a duty to translate, but the translator has a duty to be responsible, there are countless works that I've come across for reasons like IRL problems, illness, and lack of time.
All of these are valid reasons for a drop, we can't do anything.
A translator has no obligation to translate, but he has a duty to be responsible, and a drop by repost is nothing less than irresponsibility on your part.
The fact that this is just a pre-serialization is my comfort, I just hope that it does not translate the serialization, After all, Better not to read or the beginning than to read and be without an ending on the day someone do a repost.
But hey, they stole my credits! Without visualization on my website, revenue drops!
Okay! This is a problem, but it is not a reason to drop. If a responsible translator were in your place the first thing he would probably think is to post on his own website/blog, and not advertise on large sites like MangaDex and the like, I know a translator who translates and announces the translation nowhere to avoid reposts, this is an action, which, even if it is not 100% effective, can bring results.
If it still bothers you, give a final warning in the begin of the next chapter, and then if it occurs again, now that you tried find a solution, gave your warning, and yet it was ignored, just stop translating.
I think with that, at the very least, would not make me be here now complaining about irresponsibility.

Now we're actually having a decent conversation, instead of just crying foul. If you're saying that I lack of foresight to announce it in the previous chapter, then I apologise for that and keep that in mind.
Now to the main issue at hand which is you calling me irresponsible due to reposts. Well firstly, I couldn't care less if my credit was dropped, as long as they remember to credit the artist.
Secondly, I was never doing this for profit or gain. I don't even have a website and I did not advertise my TLs on Mangadex. Most of my translations were done on a whim to showcase the artist and I'm not a large group with staffs on hand to do this, I owe much of the hard work to the editor. I only started this recently and I even created the group just a few days prior as I realised my TLs were too much.

Yes indeed it's true, I do have a duty to be responsible to the readers, but you're forgetting one thing, the artist. Do you think that it's fair for me to rip off their work without acknowledging that it's their work. What you're reading is the artist's work, not mine. If you think that the matter of conscience is not a valid reason, then why are there translation groups that stopped posting after the artist had notify them not to besides the reasoning of legal action. I have no qualms with you as it's not my original intention to spite people without getting an ending. You already do understand that this is a pre-serialisation, then why are you even complaining about this from the beginning when you knew that the saving grace is the serialised work. This is a pre-serialised work, nothing to get too upset about, just something extra for the readers. If you're still not fine with that, then find some other translators, I don't mind that since I have no duty to stop them if they want to.
I sincerely hope that you're well amidst the pandemic and try to stay safe as well as to learn that everyone have different perspectives instead of trying to force your ideals onto people.

Man this was freaking amazing.
The characters are expressive and feel real.
The Art style gives a unique atmosphere too. (Though the atmosphere of a suspenseful story. But still badass)

8/10. Love this cute simple concept of a guy being interested in a girl he hides her candid emotions with an eye mask.
... I look forward to reading the serialized manga version!
