Welp, this chapter kind of annoyed me. It's obvious that this chapter was made for two reasons.
1. Useless, uninteresting drama.
2. To shove in a reason for trap and cat to get together in the end after cat gets rejected even though the two characters have never interacted until this point.
This is the kind of chapter someone writes when they feel like they've written themselves in a corner; it just feels rushed and very forced. If this kind of storytelling continues, I know it will end with everybody dating each other just to fulfill the "pair the spares" trope. Cliches that can be seen from a mile away just take the enjoyment out of the story for me. I hope the author can do something to restore my interest or my drop since I've seen this kind of development a million times before.

More information and backstory on some of these characters would be nice. We’ll get it later I’m sure, just not in a fully dissected way I don’t think.

Also, excluding Saotome, everybody is very cute. The art style is cute too. Bless the author and the people translating this, I love this manga.

Can't say I really like him, and it's hard for me to find trap characters I hate. He'll probably be my example for some time to come.
