tbh if I were put in the same scenario as him I would have asked for a Gluttony skill, where I can take the stats, abilities, and skills of the monsters I kill. I would have a full on grind mode in the desert or wastelands for years after hitting up a nearby town and getting the armor and weapons I need. The copy skill can help me if I accidently break any and also supply my food rations. I would grind until I forget my name and hop over to a nearby town to start my journey with 100+ skills at my disposal. Isekai harem garrenteed, strength, + more. (also would use some rare looking items I got and sell them, buying some edgy skull mask + dark hood armor for protection + mainly cosmetic purposes like the one shown in Beserk of Gluttony)
