What I hate about these stories is that the irrelevant side characters never seem to be able to learn a single fucking thing, like ever. Over and over and over again they whine and gossip about how the MC is trash and will soon have his ass handed to him, and moments later they're always like "how come it didn't go like we thought" - like, how many fucking times have you seen that he isn't what you think in your stupid little noggin? When will you finally put two and two together? I mean, even a rock would've figured it out by now...
