I like how they displayed the assassination attempt. You can die anywhere, anytime, anyplace. I thought it would be beating another arrogant Young master but BAM!! A knife to the chest.

Having his friend die gave the character more depth. The display of emotion made him feel less 2D.

I did notice what they did with the panels and setting, I liked it, but they do gloss over some things, like they could’ve included the side characters emotional struggle by giving them thought bubbles, I felt that would’ve gave them a lot more depth. They could’ve displayed his ongoing pain as he was carried while displaying the characters concern or internal turmoil.

Overall it was 8/10.
