"Can't read Anna Karenina after reading the synopsis. Some bitch cheats on her husband and leaves him for a dashing soldier? Guess some people have an NTR-fetish."

@Oddballr makes an actual point without being a dick like me, though.

the fact that this has so many 1 star ratings is rather indicative of the amount of the basement-dwelling weebs with weird standards for women that inhabit this website, this is actually rather well written. excited to see where this goes.
Not really. I said this in the comments of the first chapter as well but if you flipped the genders this would become a story about some playboy asshole trying to manipulate a girl for sex. The sort of shit you see in gross doujins. It's mostly the way she only seems interested in him for his looks and keeps manipulating his sense of morality so he feels bad if he leaves her. And you might try to say she's interested in him more because of this kindness than anything else, but what we see in the first chapter is her immediately complimenting his looks at first sight, then very shortly afterwards trying to talk him into a sexual relationship. It doesn't give me an impression that she actually loves him and isn't just trying to manipulate him for a good lay.
Granted, I only got two chapters in before I dropped it out of disgust, so maybe it picks up. I'm not too confident in it though.

well, yeah. of course you don't know if it's good or bad just by reading the first two chapters. I was hesitant to continue reading as well, but her character mellows out quite a bit (and her weird attitude towards sex is actually explained!).

She most likely has something akin to autism, and has no clue how to interact with people. sexuality is one of the only ways she knows how to express herself, and no one actually tells her off for it. why she's so overtly sexual is yet to be explained, but it definitely carries some dark undertones (especially the "non-sexual memories" comment she makes in chapter 4), which is why I'm excited to see where it goes.

@lordbalkara I actually hate people like you, you shouldn't be able to make a paragraph towards a point that you don't even understand yet, don't talk about disgust until your up to the chapter us readers are on then make a whole essay for us to read, and ffs don't talk about gender rolls being flipped if its not canon to the plot itself, having all these "if's" While your only 2 chapters in is stupid.

@lonelypotatoonabench TL;DR since you bitched about 5 lines of text being an "essay": I don't need to finish an entire plate of food to know I don't like the food.
Long post then: I'm not going to read a manga I don't like just so I can be better at telling people what I don't like about it. And don't pretend like "Bro 2 chapters isn't enough" is a perfect argument either, you only get one first impression and this manga fucked it up, then I went out of my way to read one more chapter and saw no chance for it to change.
Do I need to watch all of SAO before I can say its generic harem wish fulfillment? Do I need to play every single piece of content available in Fallout 76 before I get to say its buggy?
And the point about flipping genders is that if you did it nobody would be defending this. Suddenly everyone would be disgusted at this story about a man manipulating a woman for sex. But because it's a woman manipulating a man for sex, instead people defend the heroine. My point is that if you remove gender roles from the equation it becomes more obvious how unlikeable this story is, and why someone could dislike it for reasons other than "Main heroine not a virgin, gross!"

@lordbalkara Your treating a 9 chapter ongoing manga like its the full one piece series dude, if your FIRST IMPRESSION TO 2 CHAPTERS WAS SHIT DONT MAKE A PARAGRAPH ON THE MANGA AS A WHOLE! your gender reverse example doesn't work because you haven't seen how it gets better, Its like this manga to you is the Bain of society, the main reason i "bitched" about your reasoning is because you replied to someone else's review of the manga giving them your first impression of 2 CHAPTERS! when they've read the whole thing and seen the shit you missed out on, that's why your reply to that guy didn't make any sense to start off with, if your first impression of a manga is bad then dont fucking write something like that to another person who enjoyed because they have more knowledge of the series than you do, also your examples of not wanting to read the rest is like a little baby who doesn't want to finish their broccoli and you even used the "SAO is bad" card, and your "short" post was 7 lines long bitch

Maaaaaaaaan this is so wholesome!!!! Why doesn't it have a better score!!!?? I know the first 2 and maybe 3rd chapter can be rough, but looks are deceiving! The character development and understanding of their personalities is so well done that you can't help but to root for them! Also, I think that the sinopsis is a miss, it doesn't explain well what the manga is about or even the events that happen, SPECIALLY THE LAST PART AFTER THE QUESTION!

~chapter 9 she has 991 rules left, if I'm thinking about it in a logical manner wouldn't this mean this'll have 1000 chapters?

Latest chapter definitely bumped up my rating of the series as a whole - the premise was nice enough but expanding the cast has lead to some really wholesome character interactions.

This is a genuine masterpiece in its freshness and originality, the character interactions feel fun and engaging but the manga doesn’t lose its premise as a comedy and still gives you jokes that viably make you smile. The dramatic moments that are supposed to make you feel something doesn’t fail to feel sympathy or empathy for these characters because the author actually does a good job in making you care about the characters with nuanced emotions and personality. I could go on and on and write an AP Lang Rhetorical Analysis paper about this manga but rather than go on I’m just going to tell you to read it for yourself, at the current moment it’s only 10 chapters so give it a read.
