And this guy hate the female lead so much he would advise her. Kick in the stomach, kick her down the stairs and even hired some man to rape her. His own wife. Mind you she was a virgin. I had to drop it. And the comments I read that was gushing about how handsome he is and that he will come to love her, took me out. That's why I stay clear of modern day manhua. I also can’t stand the stories of when the girl rejects the guy, and then the guy aggressively pursues her, and then they end up together. I can digest lack of censorship of sensitive issues like assault(anyhow there are only mentions and they won't go into that trajectory) as long as it is not romanticized, so I have no issues with this.
