Let's hope this time rape isn't being romanticize. I've seen a lot of rape-romance manhua. I'm tired of them. Hopefully this is like cheating men must die, cause I want this bastard head!
@Orangelily Phew, who you telling? It's like these readers approve of these type of treatment for the women because the guy is rich and handsome. I once read one by accident. And this guy hate the female lead so much he would advise her. Kick in the stomach, kick her down the stairs and even hired some man to rape her. His own wife. Mind you she was a virgin. I had to drop it. And the comments I read that was gushing about how handsome he is and that he will come to love her, took me out. That's why I stay clear of modern day manhua. It seems like Rape is the new expression of Love.
Yikes! Why are there so many authors that write garbage like this? I also can’t stand the stories of when the girl rejects the guy, and then the guy aggressively pursues her, and then they end up together. I would like to see some stories from a manga like this in a modern day setting where the female agent destroys a scumbag ceo.
I can digest lack of censorship of sensitive issues like assault(anyhow there are only mentions and they won't go into that trajectory) as long as it is not romanticized, so I have no issues with this.
In the original novel, the author went through all those common novel themes and acts criticism on that. Ning Shu is a character which strongest point is to retain her morals at whatever the storyline throws at her.
This arc acts criticism on all thos 'love' sex stories. The originals hosts storyline is seriously fucked up.
It goes from one mans abuse to another mans abuse, while each man is using another method to hurt the original host!(Except the ancient Doctor!! He is the best person in the whole arc. But his noninterference is also an act of abuse.)
The original storyline ends with all the men going at it with the original host.
Ning shus task is to not let that happen
I’m confused at the storyline. Is this before she bite him? If it’s after then how did her guard survive? If this is a novel adaptation then I think it skip a bunch of important scenes
