I totally appreciate the sawateam explanation last chapter on the Stan for life cuz that's hilarious.

Really though both groups, I appreciate you both translating and I read both just to see the diff in word translation but I hope you both stay safe and well and enjoy the holidays as you continue to update. It's understandable both groups have different scanlation methods so it might not be best to work together.

Hope it's just healthy competition and rivalry at this point and don't be too offended by one another since it looks like both teams do intend to continue translating.

To everyone else complaining about the drama:
Asura absolutely deserves to be called out on their behaviour (no I’m talking about sniping with this series, but their rude comments towards sawateam in their server, and what they’ve done to other groups) but no one else has called them out before so someone was going to eventually step up and call them out. It happened to be sawateam

Honestly the comments are pretty positive and could be way worse. Not sure why people are so pissed off? Yeah it’s passive aggressive but that’s it

@zayb she's doug and she didn't purchase I assume she didn't meet the people she made deal with so she just was like ok hi I'm Doug and did her business that way so it's her doing it but she's saying her name is Doug and she is a dude.

Thank you Sawateam!! I've been sticking with your scanlation for this series the whole time. I mean, I did glance at Asura's work once or twice to make comparisons, but seriously... No offense to Asura, "Doug Hurane"? really? lmao what kinda whack name...

Anyways, I get that some readers don't care about scans drama. And I get that some readers believe that Asura never intended to snipe. But, here's my take: Asura should just release on their own site then. It was kinda rude to suddenly release on Mangadex when Sawateam was already working on the series. Idk isn't there some common courtesy thing between scanlation groups? I was in Asura's discord server and one of their staff was saying how they don't like releasing on Mangadex because of the drama (I quit their server but you might be able to find these messages). Ok then why bother releasing on Mangadex lol?

In the end, Asura got Sawateam (and friends) working their asses off to make it here to ch.22. So I guess there was some benefit from this whole drama. 😘

Edit: just wanted to point out that Sawateam used "Stan Forlaif" so that readers can understand the pun better. SAWATEAM GIVING US GOOD QUALITY TRANSLATIONSSS!!!

@ZayB You are correct. Doug/the Baron is an alias the FL uses because she can't do business as a young aristocratic lady; no one would take her seriously. Whether 'Doug' exists and sold his title or if he's completely made up isn't known at this point.

@ZayB She very much created her own alter ego's name, because og pre-translation is "Doug Furane" ("Dougfu ra-ne" is Korean for "I am a stan) and since it's an alter ego, yes, Aisha is "Doug".
We chose to localize it, to Stan Forlaif (stan for life), because that conveys the intent of the original Korean text better.
