Depends. It’s not actually hell, but the underworld in general, which is also the wording used in the raws. Also in Greek mythology it had some nice parts like the Elysian Fields which are comparable to the paradise.

I guess, you didn't read Greek myths. There were situations, when alive people entered hell to steal their beloved ones, yet failed and trick with music was their way to pass through this "guard"

Adding on, even if you do go to the underworld when alive, you can return to Earth, as long as you haven't eaten any food in the underworld.
