I tried DNS adblocking until I tried to play a game when I needed to watch an ad for rewards and then it became a big problem

Both can be temporarily turned off in that case. But seriously forced "ads" to get a freebie. I will never be that desperate.

Have you played almost any mobile game? 90% of them are like that

It makes sense for a game to not actually be free though. The system would be much healthier if games had an upfront cost instead of this free-to-pay nonsense.

You have to block ads if you want a usable experience on certain domains. Social sites and video sites like YouTube allows a lot of ads that need actual human moderation in comparison to their current detectors. But who knows before we're all using chatbots.

And that's why I don't play mobile games. If I have time to waste, mangadex is here for me. Most of the time...

And if you wanna go an extra mile, I also recommend the NoScript extension. In combo with ublock, this keeps my (sidekick) potato PC browsing the web quite smoothly.

Same. I haven't seen an ad in years. I can even turn of u-block so the site stops bothering me about ad-blockers and still see no ads. It's great. I've also learned how shitty sooo many sites are.
