If you look closely the new guy has 2 extra lines on his face. Completely different person.

Isn't Clerivan the illegitimate son of a noble/influential man? I believe it was mentioned in the arc regarding his half-sister or something... They also said "long time no see"at this meeting so I'm assuming we're meeting Papa Clerivan or a relative of some kind.
