This might be too Japanese for me to wrap my head around but this is the easiest case of bullying to entangle. Sayu was great standing up to her face, but at some point she should warn a teacher and explain the situation to them. This isn't the 80s anymore, everyone knows bullying is a recurring issue in school and that it can lead to teen suicide when unaddressed.
When they put her uniform in the trash, that was literal evidence! Why the fuck did she wear it? How come no one wondering wtf was going on with her?
Bruh, it makes my blood boil which ig is intended, but shit I'm glad I was popular so usually never had any issue and could even cut the shit out whenever I heard my friends being overtly mean with someone for a petty reason, but more importantly, I was mental. That's the energy you need to channel.
As someone said above that is the appropriate response in case of bullying. Bullies are cowards targeting someone they deem vulnerable, while outnumbering them. You need to show them that anyone can do damage and that pissing you off is not worth the trouble if not outright suicidal:
Okay, I might have slight anger issues as a kid but my advice is too frankly nip that shit in the bud. And to never underestimate how much trouble you can get kids when you complain to an adult. Not all of them can be trusted sure, but once you bring up consequences, detention, disciplinary sanctions, expulsion, summon to the parents, parents doubling down with their own punishments (because depending on if it's geting serious, police can come into play and it's not the minor that will get in trouble but them first) — it's way easier for the bully to just ignore you, behave and move on with their lives.
You need to go all GOT on their ass, use everything in your arsenal, every rule, every law, while throwing a satisfying dose of violence for good measure.

- One girl called me 'gay' in front of everyone, in a Parisian suburb, because I was standing up for my best friend, so I smacked the shit out of her in the same beat and she literally never speak to me or about me.
- Another (damn, I truly believed in gender equality) insulted me than ran to a teacher, but idgaf and drop kicked, two feet on the chest.
- Don't remember why I fought with one kid, but rocks in the eye socket and sand in the eye were thrown.
- Another motherfucker beat me because he was heavier, so I stayed on the ground and exaggerated and got him expelled for a week. 🤣
- Another little shit kicked me in the balls out of nowhere because the same girl we liked seemed to like me better. I kicked him in the balls a week later when everyone thought the dust settled. I moved out, came back five years, remembered and kicked him in the balls again because the fucker never apologized and was still salty.
- And not sure what was the beef, but I said to three dudes hounding me, 'I'm gonna shank you all if you don't run.' Climbed up to my place, climbed down with TWO butcher knives and was amused to see them scamper before I came down the stairs.
