It is a fun read til now but something make me feel pretty weird and worry how this would lead.
I not sure if the hitman's spy and intel work is bad or good. They track her as they hitman, and as this sus woman so fast, same with all other data about father and his family. know a lot of stuff to lead to this, But they dont know she is their own hitman before the meeting ?
The churce basically given their most important ittem for someone who don't know anything. weird choice. anytime they need it, or they worry it would lost to the enemy they have to do a lot of shit try to taken him without his will, like just now. Heck, even with out this arc what if he have some accident or just drop it ? They can't watch him all the time

And given that they only know her through coded communication, they might not know about her appearance either since she's 'part-timer' rather than part of the organization proper.
Heck the guy watching the drone tablet didn't connect the dot until his boss hint about her being one of their hitmen.

The bishop gave the rosary to Shirafune BECAUSE he doesn't know anything, so the opposition wouldn't suspect he's the one carrying the precious file they're looking for (and hey, it works)
That was why the hit list Rose got previously involve basically everyone in the organization, the agent side doesn't know where the bishop hid the file so they're just going for the sweeping hunt hoping to find something somewhere.
And since they probably don't know it's hidden in the rosary, they wouldn't just randomly take it from him.

For now the church knows too little to act, while the agent decide that they need to figure out why is Rose, who until now has done her jobs perfectly, decide to go against order and protect a target of all things.
And since the agent decide to use 'soft' approach by trying to get info from Benika (since we saw how the 'hard' approach ended) I expect less dramatic combat for a while and a lot more confusions as the agent keep hearing useless info from Benika who's out of the loop.

Nah, the new gal will just befriends Benika and try to dig for anything about Rose and her dad through just casual girl talks.

Remember that the agents' main priority is figuring out the reason behind Rose protecting the dad.

...also I had to re-read older chapters to check...
Rose still haven't realized that Benika's dad is THE priest in the confession booth...
Nor him realizing she's the hitman that's been coming to confess to him...

So that's the answer to their question, really.

Nah, it didnt. There are milion of way to hide such a little thing. This is just a plot device so thing can happen. And now that we see they actually have as much army and eye as the hitman faction, this make it even worse, now there are just no single situation where this wise decision can even have any use

She didn't show up in any database, but it's also not unusual for refugee to not be in one either.

They were keeping tab on the father (since he's one of the targets) not Rose. The boss only became suspicious about Rose only after that data not found moment.

Except the agent side doesn't know that he hid the data inside the rosary.

As you pointed out, the agent side have eyes and ears all over the place, so him doing anything unusual would've been spotted.
A bishop visiting a priest? Not that unusual. Especially if he goes around handing out similar rosary to all other priests under him.

Curious for their angle, will she reveal her identity to Rose to ensure that she doesn't come up with any more plans that go against the interest of the agency? Is she just supposed to drive a wedge between Benika and her to distract her?
Or maybe she's just supposed to get closer to Rose and maybe get some intel out of her as to what on earth her plan may be?
This is all very intriguing!

It's also very interesting to see that the main limitation of the assassins is that under no circumstances are they to ever kill a civilian who's not on their hit list.
It makes total sense, given the fact that they are literally contracted by an offshoot of the government to do this job, who'd for many reasons would want to avoid any unnecessary casualties (not least of which because it would attract attention), but also it's true, that does render any type of lethal ranged weapon within any public setting that much more useless.
Also explains Rose's high proficiency at manufacturing and handling specifically non-lethal weapons and IEDs, she'd need those on the job a lot, and also they of course leave behind no trace that could be tracked back to her organisation.
