Sometimes, I just kinda wanna be able to peer into the mind of a manga author and see what went through their head when they wrote certain lines. Specifically, here I want to know the following:

1. Does the author not think the above would be a crime?
2. If they do think it's a crime, do they think the girl would not report him to the police?
3. If they think the girl would report him to the police, do they think the police would not take her seriously?
4. If they don't take her seriously, does the author think rape is not a big deal?

Because like, they casually talk about committing sexual assault and then don't even reflect on how it's a crime and how the guy may go to prison because of it, just how she may not like him much afterwards, so it feels like one of the above has to be true. It's just bizarre to me.
