haizz. their interaction was soo cute. i like the SOL vibe, especially at school. Shame author decided to add some long-ass misunderstand that dragged on until near the end of the manga. Could have been a solid 10/10 there =.=.
Tks for the upload. :hearts::hearts::hearts:
only a couple more chapters before it goes downhill :meguuusad:

That chapter opening gave me hope of a double date setting.

I felt sad when the status said it was "completed" after i caught up to it yesterday.
I feel the exact opposite - I love mangas that know when to when (and how) to finish the story.

A story without a proper ending can turn into a death march, as you read each new chapter hoping that it won't be exactly the same as the previous chapter.

Wait what? what happens dude? you can give me a spoiler i don't care but i don't want to continue reading if it goes to shit
Skimmed over Russian version so based on the images.

Something happens at school with her and her click of friends and she badmouths the Male MC (which he overhears since he was about to get her info after getting a phone) and then they stop interacting for the rest of the series until chapter 45 where they come together she apologizes and they confess to each other, then a bit later (a day or so?) say goodbye to each other as he leaves the town for studying/adult life.

Along the way:-
MMC dates ?/ spends time with the girl he saved from getting hit with a baseball looks like she confessed to him (also a few hangouts before they stop with each other).

Also spends time with the FMC best friend (That got his email first Ch.9) at a concert like they planned with the fiends after the concert asking to kiss him but he ends up turning her down.

I'm gonna be spoiling pretty much the whole thing, but I will be skipping some details and events I don't think are that important/I don't remember enough, so be aware.

Basically, the dude who calls mc cocky in this chapter, who is the same dude that's groping fmc at the start of the manga, gets to know they meet up at the station and gets jealous of that, so he spreads a rumour around school that mc is actually a horrible person and takes creepshots of girls. fmc obviously doesn't buy any of that, but while her friends are warning her of him, in the heat of the moment, she does the usual trope thing of denying she knows the guy and saying that "she'd never seriously go out with a nerd like him" or something like that. Obviously, mc just so happened to be overhearing their conversation, so he starts thinking she never actually wanted to be friends with him at all and was just playing with him this whole time (tbf, a friend of mc also told him to be weary of "types like fmc" for that reason, but still).

Now, that would be alright, since mc clearly seems smart enough to, at the very least, talk it out with her? They'd only need to talk once, this is the easiest thing to resolve of all time, right?

I think you get where I'm going with this. From that point (which is only a few more chapters away), all the way to the fucking end of the manga, they DON'T FUCKING TALK IT OUT. It's genuinely crazy. After that point, it's like mc completely lost any amount of braincells and common sense he seemed to have throughout the manga. For some fucking reason, a friend telling him to be weary of her, and him overhearing a conversation in which fmc clearly wasn't acting in a familiar way, was all it took for him to just start thinking of her as basically a piece of shit, and that talking would be useless and he's better off moving on. Fmc seems much more interested in at least trying to repair their relationship than he is, tbh. and that goes on for the rest of the manga.

I skimmed over a bunch of things, plus at some point mc goes on a date with a girl that confessed to him, but ends up turning her down. At some point (after mc and fmc have already stopped talking to each other) there's a timeskip of a few months to him in college. So yeah, they literally don't talk to each other for months. That's quite literally some rent a girlfriend level bullshit.

Then, at chapter like 43 of 45, they literally just asspull mc and fmc getting back together and confessing in 2 chapters. Then the manga ends. (btw, he thinks something like "I don't think I'll ever stop loving her" after they get together, as if he hasn't ignored her and thought of her as a bitch for the past 6 months or whatever over something that wasn't even true and could've been resolved by speaking for literally 30 seconds lmao)

I don't know if I've ever seen a romance manga drop off a cliff in writing quality this hard and this fast at the same time, it's kinda crazy.

Wtf i got baited, glad you took the sacrifice. Someone on twitter recommended this manga to me and said it had a happy ending, however they conveniently left out all that bs of mc and fmc not talking to each other for a large chunk of chapters. What a shit show.

wait wtf, this sounds so ass.

This could have just continued with them getttong closer and ended with a graduation confession / implying them dating in collage and it would have been great.

Seemes like the author cooked too much and burnt the dish.

Kinda wild seeing this comic deteriorate more and more with each passing chapter.

Whereas it seemed the main couple would get together early on, we've now seen:
  • several love rivals introduced,
  • sudden unforeshadowed heavy baggage (past groping incident),
  • Kitaoka being strangely open with what-she-assumes-to-be a stranger (chibaa) about her love troubles. Very forced means to get Iijima to learn something personal from her she wouldn't have shared with him otherwise.
  • walk-backs on previous established facts to introduce further complexity:
- Iijima claims he has never loved before, then we see he's been in love twice already.
- Kitaoka doesn't believe she's even romantically interested in Iijima, yet she admits she changed her hairstyle to hopefully match his interests.

Now we even get a fanservice title page featuring two minors in scantily clad outfits, reducing these characters to mere flavour.
