They just dropped the ball with the ending. All that drama for 44 chapters and ofc the confession is at the second to last chapter. Ayo, wheres the romance gng? Well I knew this was going to be the case so I'm not THAT disappointed. LN readers, does the novel expand on things in the end?

the "overhearing" thing happened in chapter 23 - I just went to check

about half of the entire manga was dedicated to weird sulking and avoidance and contrived side tours, just so these two people clearly into each other wouldn't talk for a hot minute

at least they managed now, but then it's another classic "sail into the sunset" right after the confession, as per tradition. Compared to the charm of maybe ~10 first chapters, this series really left kinda bad taste overall :aquadrink:
