Strong start, but after that it feels like the author smashed their head into a rock and forced one of the most ridiculous misunderstandings imaginable. The early chapters had real potential, good pacing, and engaging setup, but the story quickly falls apart because of a misunderstanding that feels completely unnatural and frustrating rather than dramatic. Honestly disappointing because the manga started so well.

tbh it was boring from start to finish too many problems popped up instead of actual interaction their interaction with each other was so less and weak and new girls characters kept appearing but their screen time was too short it could’ve been my favorite if the story wasn't like this

Just finished this and I'm disappointed. This is labeled as seinen.

This series started pretty good and suddenly went downhill hard. After the main misunderstanding, the leads demonstrated that the author has no common sense. There is no reason to let that misunderstanding escalate that much. It's unnecessary drama. Female lead has no accountability or emotional responsability. She never apologizes in time. Is always Iijima that magically appears where she is. Iijima does all the heavy lifting here. There were so many opportunities for her to talk but no, "it's his fault".... Also, all the times she gets approached or confessed, she never dismiss men firmly. As a woman I find this very dangerous, for her and for Iijima.

I deeply resonated with this manga. I made the same mistake as the main character, and I deeply regret it. Thankfully, the MC confessed in the end, dang should I reconnect with her....?
