Actually had to go back and check what Chiyomatsu looked like before.

Damn, they really did a number on him.

Chiyomatsu could survive, but then, finding such an injured guy or, later, an invalid would not be imposssible for the enemy. And a lot of people saw him on the street with the samurai, so the word could come out even if all of them miraculously disappeared.
