I thought this was shit and I wasn't wrong 😂
The concept of 'training alone for million years and you will eventually get stronger' is retarded. If you don't get the basic right, no matter how many years you train you will be a trash. You might get stronger muscle and stamina, of course, but techniques are nothing you can gain by training alone. You at least need to try it out to see whether it works and that's why sparring is needed in every fight sports. Take Kung Fu, for example. The technique they believed to be very effective were actually trashes when they were contested by the other styles. And why is that? Because each school did not exchange their knowledge with each others and tended to keep their secret techniques to themselves. Cross sparring session between schools were very rare and that's why there's low chances for them to test their technique. By the time they knew that their techniques are practically useless, it was already too late and Kung Fu became obsolete. So, the idea of MC getting these awesome technique, especially those super human reflexes, just from rigorous training is ridiculous. I mean, how can he improve his reflexes just by swinging his sword? That makes zero sense.
Obviously, this was written by someone who doesn't know how fighting and martial arts in general would work.
