1. Oguri (a gag character inserted solely to advance the plot) should not have been a love interest.
2. The process of creating a harem stunted relationship development.
3. Main character loses all personality in order to serve the plot development du jour.
I didn't love the ending, the MC getting with the dude would be fine if they actually hung out a bit more, but I wanted at least a bit of gay- I thought the MC and Yuika had so much more spark
Otherwise a pretty good read! I like the starting chapters a bit more though.
They literally made the worst possible pairing the official ending. It's like the author went out of his way to ruin the ending. It's easily one of the most forced endings I've ever seen.
It's frustrating, given how it was actually enjoyable up until a certain point.
what a lovely little manga, so unfortunate it didn't get more volumes. got quite psychologically deep while still staying cute, and has plenty of gender twists along the way.
I thought it was a romance about Chinami and Yuika. The twist was truly unexpected. With that aside, I think It would be better if the series continued, but considering other series. I think it's better to have an ending than having it axed. The ending could have been better. I mean look at the manga cover, I didn't expect the gag character to be one of the love interest. Anyhow, I enjoyed the manga. 8/10
The girl got the best guy as a boyfriend. I'm not a gay and really don't like gay romance, but this dude is just sacred, and I'd absolutely choose him. Kinda shame he's not asexual, but the girl needed her good ending, so fine.
The thing the author did in chapter 12 I find as a war crime. I got really depressed in the moment and had to go to TNO to calm down a little. It was a total blunder of mate in 1, but the god (author) used all world's luck to fix this in the same chapter and I'm really grateful for this. I've already got a similar punch in another manga, so pls, stop it. It really hurts.
The ending is kinda meh. I'd say I got what I wanted, but it was like I was going up and up on a roller coaster and instead of a good ride I just fell down to the bottom instantly. It ended too quickly and quite, so like 10 seconds I couldn't understand what just happened. Really a shame, it feels like even 1 extra page would make the final much better, but it's fine, I'll take it. I got too much positive reading to the moment.
Can't rate it fair. Gender bender is my guilty pleasure. I don't find every gender bender satisfying, but if I find one, I really want to give 10/10 even when I know much better works. Maybe this is what people loving romance films feel like. I've never understood regular romance and felt fine if it was just a little part of something more interesting, but doing a whole movie about it? Sounds strange to me. But this kind of romance is what I really love. And I want more of it. Even with cliches and other problems. Maybe this is how other people feel. I don't know.
