A) She thought she lost her shot at love ten years ago and dove into the whole idol thing to try and forget (which went really well, as we see). Now that a miracle is happening, she's not letting it go for anything. (See "Can I Brag About My Very Devoted Wife" for a similar -- albeit idol-free -- example of this trope.)
