Thanks for the chapter!

The votes went like I thought, but the elimination was out of left field. I thought that mimi would jump to take the blame and go to another agency.

All in all the elimination went about as i imagined it would. This whole Yuuri arc had a sense of finality about it and considering her motivation for entering, being eliminated but coming out of it with a dream stronger than ever feels like a very apt conclusion for her~

Honestly had a minor heart attack when it centered on Suzu for a bit there. I don't want her to lose because she's one of my favorites. And especially not in such a lame way since she wasn't able to compete this time. Yuuri getting eliminated was predictable but I felt it was handled fine overall. Really want to see how Tsumugi grows from here since her sister is gone. I want her to be in the final five.

Fair enough. In terms of character, Tsumugi surpassed her older sister and by being independent in the next round, she can progress even further.
The reasoning for Yuuri herself makes sense, so far she is more concerned about Tsumugi than the show itself (though a duo sister unit could be cool).

It’s cool that Mimi has won the audience as a group in the previous round and as an individual now. The judges’ excuse of “you performed well, but didn’t have as much prep” and not giving her a single vote feels overly pointed and perhaps scripted to eventually choosing Yuuri to eliminate.

Looking forward to how the next round grouping is going to be. As much as I wanna see Mimi and Ibuki in the same group, my guess is the author is keeping this card for later.

Wait, so you expected one of the 2 MCs to already get eliminated?
Its more like it was Mimi or ones that have the arc completed. At least for me it would be fine if they cut part of the program (not all) and make it a part were mimi and a few that were rejected would make a different group and meet at a concert or another program with the rest.

two battles, twice the white stars lose, why are they white stars again?
Yeah Yuuri's arc was complete but in reality Michiru should be the one to leave because of dubious connections

We have literally almost just started on this program, so it wouldnt really make any sense to do that though.

expected but atleast Yuuri has new goal to achieve after this elimination, which is another good way for her.

now let’s see who’ll be back to black star and who’ll be rise to white star (it’ll be surprising if Mimi and Ibuki could be in same team for once, but who knows..)

I find this to be a very nice conclusion, and seeing Yuuri being eliminated with her head held high, with a new goal and having grown from the experience ended up being even a somewhat wholesome experience. Curious to see how Tsumugi will deal with being separated from her sister for real now, she has matured and is surrounded by friends, yet she's still very young and just now reconciled with her sister, so her being eliminated must've come as a surprise and a painful blow.

As always, thank you very much for the scanlation.
