The opposite was true for me lmao. I thought I would hate the director, but he turns out to just be a business man, minding the interests of his company (which in itself is not unreasonable, considering that Aria did this with company funds to pursue a more personal dream of creating the idol unit). HIs relationship with Aria is also understandable, since judging from his personality he would have hardly gotten along with his blood siblings (if he had any), much less with an adoptive one that came in later in the picture. So overall I don't dislike the character as of now
