Such as? There's nothing gramatically incorrect about that example

This is an actual translation that ecchi no doujinshi considered correct and didn't see any issue with until it was pointed out enough times so that it was "fixed" (current version still sounds weird).
Just putting that there so you know the person you're arguing with is not nearly good enough at English to tell what is a correct sentence from what isn't. And they don't know enough Japanese either by the way, almost every chapter so far has had at least one big mistranslation that changes the meaning of what the characters are saying to some capacity. Just this chapter alone for example:

That is not what he said and that does not make any sense. Hashimoto was telling Senpai to "switch" up his attitude, his mind, basically to stop feeling demoralized.
As I said this happens almost every chapter, and this is only a tame example since it doesn't affect the general dialog that much. There are worse cases.

If you don't think there's anything wrong with this example then you should learn more English, should be "laugh at the losers", the article "the" was not used in the speech bubble when it should have been.
"The" is only used when denoting specific objects. Not using "the", speaking of "losers" in general terms, is still correct.
As the guy above me said, you know nowhere near enough english or japanese to translate this series, and yet you still have the gall to shit on /a/ while begging for patreon money. What a joke.

Here is where I'll actually have to step in as an amateur orthographist and linguist and say that while for formal English you are correct, for conversational or casual English this is actually a perfectly acceptable sentence; it comes across as more natural-sounding for a young man to use amongst a friend group, rather than more formal speech.

These are unfortunately good examples of what you are talking about regarding Luigiy's group's translation.

A plethora of reasons, the other guy had already said they were dropping the series when kodansha picked it up for its K Manga app (which may I say sucks and it's region locked to the US) so I stepped in that day and said I was picking up the series on the comments and so I posted my chapter when the next chapter released and the other guy did a "takesie-backsie" when they saw I had posted my version without repercussions to my group and I am not responsible for the immaturity of the other team, plus not just that but I believe when it comes to quality my version is way better and I have a team that curates things to make sure my chapters are top notch.
I only said S.T.A.L.K.E.R. would stop translating the main chapters, not that I was going to drop it entirely. I wanted to see how K Manga was going to work out before I made a final decision. I saw that K Manga wasn't going to work out, so I continued. But I'll admit, I should have communicated with you guys better.

Look homie, I'm down to work with you if you're down to work with me; I've worked on other series before where I collab with other teams and everything was great, you can be the main translator, I can be the redrawer/typesetter and I have a team who can both proofread your work and quality check it before upload, what do you say? I honestly tried to reach you before but your DMs seem to be disabled on the forums? Anyways, let me know what you think.

I honestly don't care much about the "drama" but I find it funny you think low activity count has any sort of factor to the validity of someone's criticism of your work, makes it funny when you just ignore a comment by someone who actually has "high" activity count...

I would prefer to work alone with my friends, but if collaborating is how we could solve this issue, then I'm open to it. Redrawing would be the most helpful thing since it's the area we're weakest at. I could send you the raw pages for the latest chapter the moment it drops and you and your team could redraw and clean it. We can take care of the typesetting, I taught my friend how to do it and we streamlined the process. I also want to keep the same typesetting style to continue the work of Beleghenruin, the original and long time /a/ typesetter for this series. I don't like credit pages that much, but I could credit you and your group on the first page of each chapter if you'd like. I just want to end this drama and save both of us time. What do you think? I also rarely use forums, so I probably don't have things configured or haven't seen your messages.

Do you use discord? I'm down for the collab if you also make the concession of letting my proofreader help you out with the PR for it and for our team to give it a quality check pass after your friend typesets the whole chapter, the credits thing is fine and dandy to me.

I don't use Discord. Could email work? About proofreading, that's already covered between me and my friends. But if it's necessary, then we can show you and your team the work before I upload.

i love how both translators settled the issue with no problem while everyone else went apeshit on their behalf.
